In 1963 the Harvard-IESE Committee was launched with professors from both Business Schools. Harvard and IESE share the same training methodology: The Case Method.

Unlike the traditional teacher-focused teaching methods, at IESE the class is based around the students and their ideas. The professor acts as a facilitator and guides the class discussion, asking questions and encouraging participation from all students to enrich the discussion with their distinct perspectives, experiences and cultural backgrounds.

The case method:
What would you do?

A way to learn

"Both the PMD and the professors who led  it were excellent. I’m trained as a natural scientist but now have a much stronger grasp of business thanks to the program. I’m still in touch with my classmates, which  is another key benefit."

Dr. Jutta Matreux  (PMD 2015)
Vice President, Corporate Services and Sustainability Wacker Chemie AG

"I was fortunate to have had many outstanding professors during my  university years, but IESE's faculty set a new standard. Their energy level, expertise and ability to harness the knowledge of such a diverse group of  people were truly impressive."
